“Is/Is not analysis” is a very simple tool to define the scope of a project or to attract attention in the context of problem solving.
Is/Is not allows the team to identify the major items to analyze and decide what is important and what is not.
In the example below, I used this principle here to describe my website In Imago and analyze the customer journey that I could associate.
Is Is not
This site brings together the coaching themes This site is not digital
This site compiles customer interests This site is not simple
This site is correctly referenced Is not customer oriented
Is not allows you to understand that the customer journey does not exist. The site works by adding customer experiences in different areas of activity related to digital transformation
However, Is helps to understand that the site meets the needs of listing experiences by keyword that can be used in a Google search.
The reasoning could be taken much further, transforming this is / is not analysis into a tool for verifying each of the stages of a Lean system, for continuous improvement.
Any website or digital workplace can be decoded and then improved with Is / Is not, as a simple analysis tool.
This tool, Is/Is not analysis will be used in game-coaching to align a team on the objective to be reached in the implementation of a customer journey. Thus, it will make it possible to find the UX validation criteria (user experience).
